The Flash 206: Enter Zoom

Barry is fighting Dr. Light. Dr. Light gets the best of Barry and steals the flash logo off his suit. Now we are back in STAR labs and Barry is talking with Dr. Light in her cell. Light is explaining how she was suppose to contact Zoom by sending something to the breach. Something that would prove that Barry was dead.

Barry is now talking with the team explaining that they need to throw the logo from his suit threw a breach to trap Zoom. Wells explains that he has a serum that dampens Zooms speed that all he needs is Cisco to develop a gun to deliver it. Caitlin is worried that they could be developing another weapon that could fall into the wrong hands. They plan on using the fact that Zoom can’t see the other side of the breach and they want to shoot him just as he walks through. Barry gets a text that Patty needs Joe and him at the station. Barry leaves. The rest of the team makes a plan for Cisco to Vibe with Wells so they can figure out what he is really up to.

Wells has a flashback to Earth 2.  Wells is talking with his daughter. She is asking him about the metahumans and the accelerator. Wells says STAR labs has kicked in the door to unlock the mysteries of the universe. Jesse is disappointed in her father. When she leave he calls her Jesse Quick.

Now at the police station Patty has some news on the Dr. Light case says that she can also use light for invisibility. Joe lets her know that the Dr. Light case is closed. Patty wants to know why Joe just tells her No. Barry and Patty have a flirty moment after Joe leaves.

At the newspaper Iris and Linda are talking about The Flash and how Linda wants to help with the case of Dr. Light

Cisco is now going to check on Dr. Light and the cell is empty but her clothes. Cisco panics and opens her cell. Cisco gets knocked down by an invisible Dr. Light. Cisco tells Caitlin to lock down the lab but Dr. Light has hacked the system and none of the security measures are working. Dr Light has escaped STAR Labs.

Cisco explains how Dr. Light used fiber optics to escape. They start talking about the damping gun and the plain with Zoom. Joe and Barry start to argue about the plan. Joe thinks Barry is putting too much faith in the man who’s wearing the face of his mom’s killer.

Cisco is starting to try to use his Vibe on Wells. Wells knows right away and starts to question what Cisco is doing. Wells doesn’t want Cisco touching him.

Wells flashback to Earth 2. Wells is putting together a weapon in his office. The TV talks about the unmasking of Robert Queen as the hood. The news story is broke up by a metahuman attack on the college science department. The person taken from the college was Jesse Wells daughter.

At the police station, Patty and Joe are having a conversation about Barry and Patty’s date and kiss. Joe says he doesn’t care, what Patty and Barry do in private is their business. Patty ask Joe if there’s anything he needs to tell her. Joe says no.

Linda is stress cooking at the house. Linda wants to know what she can do to help. Iris makes a comment about Linda having Dr. Light’s powers. Barry thinks they can use Linda and Dr. Lights suit to draw out Zoom. Iris takes Linda to STAR labs Barry as the Flash ask for her help.

Cisco is setting up a bunch of cardboard cutouts of the team. They have dressed her up as light and given her real gloves that shoot light. She’s in training now and trying to shoot only Barry’s cutouts. After some modifications to the gloves she has it under control. Her and Barry go to high five and she almost shoots Cisco. The team doesn’t believe Linda can do it. Barry has faith. Joe still questions if Linda is ready. Joe thinks Barry is still chasing the Reverse Flash and getting Zoom is the next best thing. Barry just walks away. Barry dressed as Flash goes to the house to talk to Linda. Barry removes his cowl to show Linda who he is. That he has faith in her.

Cisco and Wells are working in the lab. Cisco keeps trying to Vibe with Wells. Finally after some clumsy spilling of oil he finally has a Vibe moment with Wells. We see Zoom holding Jesse and Zoom asking why Wells has went to the other earth. Jesse tells Zoom she doesn’t know.

Patty still is questioning why they aren’t looking for Light. Joe says Patty needs to trust him, that he needs a few days. Patty ask Barry on a date but Barry says he’s got a thing with Joe tonight that he can’t cancel.

Linda and Barry do some bad acting. Linda shoots at Barry and misses. They go through the choreographed fighting. Barry falls and Linda throws the logo through the breach. Joe and Wells are perched up ready to fire on who ever comes back through. After and hour passes the team gives up on the the plan.  Zoom never shows up. Barry confesses to Joe that Joe was right he’s doing all this for something else. He tells Joe about the Wells speech and how it has affected him. Joe tells Barry whatever makes him happy that he needs to go out and get that.

Barry goes to Patty and starts to make out with her in the police station. Barry says that getting to know Patty is what makes her happy.

Linda and Iris are sharing a beer at the newspaper. They talk about the stress of keeping a secret as big as the Flash. As Linda walks out of the office Zoom is there and takes her away.

Back at STAR labs Cisco is replacing the logo on the suit while Wells is reviewing the footage of the failed attempt to lure Zoom out. Barry gets the call that Zoom has Linda. Just as he gets the call all the metahuman alerts go off in the lab. Zoom is on the roof using Linda as bait. He drops Linda, Barry races down and uses some tornado hand move to slow Linda’s fall. Zoom races down to the ground and we have a standoff between the two speedsters. Barry attempts throw a lightning bolt at Zoom. Zoom just catches it and throws it back at him. In the lab Wells is getting the gun ready. Cisco and Caitlin want Barry to run. Barry wants to give Wells a chance to use the speed sirum. Barry runs up and we fight out that speeds equal during freefall. Wells attempts to shoot Zoom. Zoom catches the dart and sticks Barry with it. Zoom runs off with Barry to the newspaper and is put on display by Zoom that Barry is no longers a hero. He does the same thing at the police department. Zoom returns STAR with Barry. Zoom is killing Barry. Cisco takes the speed damping gun and shoots Zoom. Zoom drops Barry and runs away.

Barry is now in bed recovering. Joe threatens to kill Wells. Cisco ask Wells about Jesse. Wells says that no children are safe with Zoom out there. That Wells thought he could capture him on this earth to rescue his daughter.

Barry wakes up and can’t feel his legs…..
