Arrow 408: Legends of Yesterday

We are in ancient Egypt, Hawkman is getting food as an offering to Horus. Kendra is questioning why the rocks keep falling from the sky. Savage walks in and tells the pharaoh that dark times are coming. This is all a vision from Kendra she is starting to remember the past. The team is now traveling to a farmhouse in the country away from Savage. Both Team Flash and Arrow are working on a plan to get the staff away from Savage. The tech team is working on creating gloves to get the staff away while the heros are learning what they can about the man. Oliver wants to leave the farm to take care of something. Felicity asks what’s up but Oliver just wants to figure out what’s going on before he tells her. Kendra and Carter are in a field now and Carter is going to start to train her. He has a trunk, inside the trunk is her Hawkgirl suit.

Oliver is now in the suburbs of Central City infront of the house of Samantha. He approaches her as she is leaving and ask about her son and if its his. Samantha denies it’s his as she leaves she drops her son’s hat. Oliver picks up the hat and hands it back when he does this he takes a stray hair. Oliver’s phone rings and it’s Malcolm, he has set up a meeting between Savage, Barry and Oliver. As Barry is running to the meeting he looks over and sees himself. Oliver, Malcolm and Barry are all in the warehouse as Savage walks in.

Savage tells the three of them he just doesn’t want to die. Oliver shoots him with an arrow and Savage pulls the arrow out. Savage threatens everyone with killing the people they care about if they don’t turn over Carter and Kendra within 24 hours. Oliver doesn’t want to give them up. Malcolm doesn’t want to risk his daughter’s life for people they really don’t know.

Oliver is telling the team about Savages ultimatum. Kendra doesn’t want to risk the life of millions for just her and she leaves the house. Cisco tries to follow but Carter says he will talk to her. Cisco runs into Barry in the barn. Barry tells Cisco that he thinks he’s about to time jump because the fact he ghosted. Kendra in the pasture ask Carter if they’ve ever kill themselves to avoid Savage. Carter turns it into a impromptu training session. He pisses Kendra off enough that her wings come out and she tries to attack him. This is broken up by Felicity with news that the team might have some info on Savage.

In the house Laurel has a tape with with a professor who declares Savage will be the end of the world but he believes that a calamity an object from the past that can kill savage.

In Barry’s lab at the police station Oliver had Barry run the hair he got from the hat. The Y chromosomes match. Oliver instructs Barry not to tell anyone. Felicity walks in and Barry still has the document in his hand. She sees it and ask for it. Felicity reads it and she knows Oliver has a kid.

Oliver is back at Samantha’s house and he confronts her about his son. Oliver finds out that his mother paid her to tell Oliver she miscarried. Oliver doesn’t believe her until she shows him the check from his mom. She tells Oliver he can’t tell anyone about his son and if he does he won’t be able to see him. Oliver begs her to let him tell Felicity but she doesn’t budge.

It is now night time back on the farm and Oliver is returning home. Felicity is there to confront him with the test. Felicity breaks it off with Oliver because he’s lack of trust and the fact he’s still lying to her. Barry comes out as Felicity leaves to find Oliver.

Oliver and Barry return to the house, with the 24 hr deadline approaching Oliver lays out the plan. He isn’t willing to sacrifice all the team so only Barry, Kendra, Carter and himself are going to meet Savage.

Barry and Oliver take Kendra and Carter to meet savage. Kendra and Carter are chained up. Savage goes to kill Kendra and Oliver attacks Savage. Barry frees Kendra and Carter. They get the staff away from Savage. Kendra is unable to get her wings to emerge. Savage kills both Carter and Kendra. Barry and Oliver have the staff now and are using it on Savage. The gloves that the team made to handle the staff fail. Oliver tells Barry to run because he’s fast enough to get away. Savage gets a hold of the staff again and uses it to cause almost a nuclear blast. The shock wave rips through the city killing everyone. Barry is running just ahead of it and he sees his ghost again. Barry has time jumped and he is now back in the meeting with Oliver, Malcolm and Savage from the beginning of the show.

The meeting goes the same as it did before but Barry is in a daze. Oliver and Barry return to the farm and Barry admits to Oliver that they failed. Barry tells Oliver about his fight with Felicity, Oliver’s kid and the fact that everyone dies. Oliver wants to use that info to do things differently.

Cisco is working on the gloves in the barn and Oliver comes in and ask Cisco to double and triple check to make sure the gloves work correctly. Oliver also ask Cisco to talk to Kendra because Cisco is the only person that can get through to her because he’s the only one there that truly loves her.

Cisco goes and talks with Kendra. Cisco wants her to focus on the good hearted person he knows and to use that instead of the rage Carter is trying to get her. Cisco lets her know that he understands what it’s like to learn powers. Cisco gets Kendra to remember the first time Savage killed Carter and Kendra. In the vision Kendra sees a knife and the staff. Kendra comes out of her vision and knows how to kill Savage. Barry gets the mineral that can used to coat the gauntlets to get the staff. Oliver gives the same plan as before but this time he includes the whole team. Oliver and Barry lead the two to Savage again. This time the plan works and Barry and Oliver are able to use the staff to eliminate Savage.

Barry, Oliver, Carter, Kendra and Cisco are walking the streets of Central City. Carter doesn’t know what is going to happen this time because they’ve never defeated Savage before. Carter and Kendra plan on leaving the city to go do good elsewhere. Kendra ask for some time along with Cisco. Kendra breaks it off with Cisco. Cisco gives Kendra a gift so she can alert them if anything goes wrong. Oliver and Barry are walking and talking about Oliver’s kid and whether he’s going to tell Felicity. Barry tells Oliver it’s best for him to be in his son’s life.

Oliver goes back to Samantha’s house and meets his son again. Oliver and William play with the Flash action figures.

Back at the apartment Felicity knows something up with Oliver and she wants him to tell her what’s wrong. Oliver still doesn’t tell her about the kid.

Back at the warehouse Malcolm is collecting Savage’s ashes in a jar. He tells the ashes that He owes him one Buddy….
