The Flash 208: Legends of Today

Barry is running around the city and on the sonic treadmill trying to regain his speed. Caitlin and Wells are overseeing his training in the lab. Barry isn’t running as fast as he was before Zoom. Wells and Caitlin are trying to figure out how to make Barry faster. They’ve tried everything Wells suggested but there’s still one more thing. Barry leaves to go find Patty.

Back at a shipyard a boat comes into dock and they report a stowaway. The man says he’s here for a hunt. He takes out the captain, crew and the police officer and reclaims his coat full of weapons. He starts to see Hawkman in almost a vibe moment.

At the police station Patty, Joe and Barry are investigating the murders on the dock. Barry said they found some evidence of a krypto crystal that probably broke off of the blade when the victims were stabbed.

Later that night at Jitters Cisco and Kendra are on a date. Just before they kiss Vandal Savage appears in the room. Savage starts to call Kendra by a different name and suggest she’s just as beautiful in this lifetime. Cisco sends out a distress call to Barry while they are talking. Savage goes to kill Cisco and Barry saves him by catching a knife that was thrown at Cisco’s heart. Savage disappears just as sudden as he appeared. Cisco accidently calls Barry by his name in front of Kendra.

Back at STAR labs the team is talking about the knife that Barry caught in the fight with Savage. They question Kendra on why this man would want to take her. Cisco mentions that he called her Priestess Chay-Ara. Kendra admits she’s never left the states there’s no way she could have known that man. Barry suggest there’s only one place she would be safe and that’s Star City. Cisco questions whether or not they should go to Star City. Barry doesn’t believe they are dealing with a metahuman that this man is mystical and that Team Arrow is better suited to deal with him. Cisco wonders if Oliver and the team have any time to help. Barry says how busy can they be.

In Star City at an ARGUS felicity Darhk is pulling the souls from ARGUS agents. Darhk and the ghost are there to steal a bomb and use it against the city. Team arrow jumps in and takes out all the ghost. At the end of the fight Darhk has Oliver and is taking his life. Barry runs in a saves Team Arrow. Diggle pukes from the ride and Thea doesn’t remember that they know Barry is The Flash. Oliver thanks him and Barry asks the team for protection for Kendra.

Oliver has taken Barry back to the new liar. Cisco is checking out the set up and he knows why the system is shutting down from time to time. They ask Barry what he looks like Barry sketches a likeness and Felicity runs it through the computer. They find a match but the picture is from 1975. Kendra explains that the man said they’ve known eachother for ages but she’s never met him before. Oliver starts asking a bunch of questions which Cisco takes some offence to and ask Oliver to back down a little bit. Barry steps in and says they just need their help for protection not to solve the case. Oliver reminds Barry that they don’t have superpowers like him and that bringing Kendra there has put Team Arrow at risk. Felicity reminds them all they are friends and suggest going back to their place for drinks and they can talk there.

Back at STAR labs Wells is working on a formula to make speedsters run faster. Caitlin is there also and suggest that they reason he’s failed before that Wells is looking at the problem all wrong. Caitlin suggest some changes and they might have solved the problem. They might have a drug to make speedsters temporarily faster.

Back at Oliver and Felicitys the team is having drinks. Cisco is trying to rename Speedy. Felicity and Barry are catching up on the Earth-2 and Barry’s dating situation. Barry and Oliver are now catching up. Barry notices the difference in Oliver. Cisco and Barry are now taking Cisco is explaining the vibe moment to Barry. Cisco is worried that if Kendra knows about his powers. Savage bust through the window Barry gets Oliver’s bow and quiver. Oliver instructs Savage not to move. Save says ‘Then how am I supposed to kill you’. Savage starts to unload  knifes at the team. Barry stops all of them but one. Oliver starts to unload arrows into Savage with the help of Speedy. Speedy shoots one too many and puts Savage over the balcony.  A frustrated Oliver says ‘This is why we ask questions.’ Barry and Oliver look down from the balcony and Savage isn’t below.

Back at the lair Oliver gets off the phone with Lance. He’s on the lookout for Savage. Cisco admits that he has powers and that he vibed on Kendra. He explains that he saw Kendra with wings. Felicity reacts to the news and the lights go out in the lair when the come back on Malcolm is there with his assassins.

In STAR labs Caitlin thinks she solved the problem. Wells agrees. Jay walks in Wells wants to use him as a test subject. Jay says he can’t recreate the speed force it’s a gift. Jay leaves the lab angrily. Wells is off to get what they need to make the sirum.

In the lair Malcolm tells the team they are looking for Vandal Savage and that he is immortal. Malcolm says there’s nothing they can do to save Kendra. Kendra wants to go for a walk, she explains to Cisco how hard it is. Cisco says it gets more normal as each day passes. Hawkman swoops in and takes Kendra.

Both Teams are searching the city for Hawkman and Kendra. Hawkman lands on the roof and says that Kendra needs to remember. She starts to have flashbacks and sees them together in a past life. The team identifies the rooftop they are on and Oliver and Hawkman start to fight. Oliver and Barry take down Hawkman.

Wells has finished the serum and Caitlin is questioning whether or not they should use it on Barry because of Jay’s warning. Caitlin leaves the lab. Patty walks in from behind and tells Wells to freeze. Patty saw Wells earlier in the day picking up the material needed to make the serum. Wells tries to explain to Patty what is going on. She warns him that if he comes closer that she will shoot. He continues to walk and Patty shoots him in the chest. Caitlin comes in and tries to save him. Patty explains that she though the serum was a gun. Patty wants to call 911 and Caitlin tells her to call Joe.

Hawkman is tied up in the lair explaining the past between him, Savage and Kendra. Savage has killed Kendara and him 206 times, each time they are reincarnated into another body and because they are soulmates they always find eachother. Savages power grows each time he kills the couple. Barry believes that him and Oliver can take out Savage. Malcolm appears out of nowhere again with the league. Malcolm believes that Savage is after the staff of Horus. Hawkman lets the team know if he gets the staff there’s no way they can stop him. Felicity is searching the database to find where the staff is. Hawkman wants Kendara to emerge.

STAR labs Wells is in critical condition the bullet is near his lungs. Joe is there and ask Patty to leave. Caitlin says they need jay.

On the rooftop Kendra needs to jump for her wings to emerge. Hawkman pushes her off the first time and Barry ends up saving her. Oliver lets Barry know that he needs to let her jump. Barry questions whether it’s good to trust Hawkman. Oliver has an idea where the staff is. We find out that Kendra was drawn to Central City because the Staff is there. The team suits up to retrieve the staff.

Jay shows up at STAR labs, the only option is for Jay to take the drug to get the speed force and remove the bullet with his speed hand. Jay takes the drug and saves Wells.

Cisco and Kendra are on the roof talking about the sudden powers they’ve both discovered. Kendra says she’s needs to find out about the other lives and embrace her destiny. She gets on the ledge and jumps and gets her wings.

Barry and Oliver get to the church in Central City and Savage already has the staff. Barry and Oliver are unsuccessful in getting the staff. Savage blows the church up and escapes Barry and Oliver.

Wells wakes up in STAR labs, Jay is bedside and tells Wells he will never take the serum again. Wells thanks him and Jay says keep Velocity-6 away from Barry.

Oliver ask for the team to get to Central City to fight Savage. While at Jitters getting coffee Oliver runs into his long lost kid.
