Back in August, Disney announced that two new “Star Wars” parks were going to be added to Disneyland and Disneyworld. Last night, Harrison Ford premiered brand new photos of for the exciting additions that give us more insight about what we can expect.
First off, there will be a Millenium Falcon experience where fans will get to shoot laser cannons directly from the driver’s seat.
From the pictures it looks like guests will feel like they’re actually a part of the movies.
Another section will put fans smack in the middle of “a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance,” according to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
Apparently there will be Stormtroopers every you look.
Giant marketplaces will sell food and drinks inspired by the movies.
Not sure if they will actually serve alcohol but there will also be a giant cantina.
There will be a lot of different places to explore.
You will be able to hang out with aliens and droids!
The plan for the two lands are expected to take up 14 acres at both Disney World and Disney Land.
No exact opening date as of yet but when it does happen I’m sure it will be big success. Star Wars fans unite!
