Variety has reported the Emmy-nominated Michael K. Williams has joined the cast of the upcoming Star Wars Han Solo film.
Williams joins an already stacked lineup of actors which is headlined by Alden Enhrenreoch, who will play the title character.
The untitled Han Solo picture is due to be released memorial day weekend in 2018 and is being directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller the duo behind the Lego Movie.

Williams is best known for his roles on HBO dramas including Omar Little from The Wire, Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire, and most recently on The Night Of. You can currently find Williams on Sundance channel’s Hap and Leonard.
