Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Judge Dredd & Lawmaster – Dark Blue Variant Figure Review

Packaging:

Judge Dredd and the Lawmaster come in one box that contains two different boxes. One containing Judge Dredd and One containing The Lawmaster. The outer box contains the comic logo for Judge Dredd, along with a drawing of the Lawmaster. The inner boxes both contain a branding style label. Once inside you can see that Judge Dredd is packaged in the classic Mezco style

As you can see from the list above the box includes everything a Judge Dredd fan would ever need. Including multiple hands for all the classic Dredd poses plus a very accurate Lawgiver. The figure has the ability to be posed in many different positions including easy removal of the shoulder armor which is connected by a strong magnet.  The paint job and sculpt in the head are on point, very comic-book like.

The Lawmaster is where this figure shines. It comes with lights and sounds but the most impressive thing about it is was the detail in the pain. The weathering of the vehicle is on point. I was most impressed with the details in the tires and the undercarriage. These are two places that most toy companies forget.

 

Overall:

I can remember seeing this figure at San Diego and going to myself I need this. I’ve been a huge 2000 AD/Dredd fan and I am always happy when companies get a license and do justice to that character. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the set. It is by far the best value for a vehicle figure combo.
