Black Lightning Not Included in a Future Crossovers

According to Deadline, CW president Mark Pedowitz said that their latest DC property Black Lightning is not part of the Arrow-verse and that there is no plans to include the series.

During an upfront call Thursday, Pedowitz stated that they have zero concerns about expanding the genre beyond what they have now. Despite the obvious steep competition of late, when other networks are filling their television lineup with superhero TV, Pedowitz confidently stated, “we believe we have the best superhero programming–it will last as long as people want to watch it; quality matters in this case.
