Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures announced and will debut on new Star Wars Kids site
This will certainly be remembered as a new renaissance for Star Wars fans young and old. With films, newly announced live-action TV shows, comics, animated shows and more; there is a plethora of Star Wars content for even the most gluttonous of fans. Disney and Lucasfilms’ strategy is quite simple; saturate the market and provide content for various demographics in a way that George Lucas himself was never able to do. By doing this, Disney is able to secure a loyal fanbase for decades (maybe centuries) to come.
Today, Lucasfilm announced their plans to debut an all-new site (StarWarsKids.com) specifically for kids along with a Star Wars Kids YouTube channel; which will be launching on November 30. With this debut, will be a series of shorts titled Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures, which is geared to introduce classic characters and timeless themes to new fans. According to the official press release “The first six shorts combine original dialogue, music, and sound effects with bold new animations, and fun and educational add-ons designed to help older fans, parents and other mentors to welcome kids in their lives to explore the galaxy far, far away”…
Additional shorts are planned and will debut in December, with regular releases throughout 2019.
