The Deadwood Movie is almost upon us
First, I must thank God for finally answering all of our prayers. A Deadwood limited series/movie has been rumored and talked about for literally 10 or more years but it wasn’t until recently that the producers over at HBO finally decided to pull the trigger and take us back to the gritty down of Deadwood.

HBO has released the first teaser trailer for the very long awaited Deadwood movie, which I have so kindly posted below.
The two-hour return of the fan-favorite Western drama also has now a premiere date: Friday, May 31, 2019. The Deadwood movie reunites the show’s original cast led by Ian McShane reprising his role as Al Swearengen and Timothy Olyphant back as Seth Bullock.
The rest of the core cast is back on board as well, including Molly Parker (Alma Ellsworth), Paula Malcomson (Trixie), John Hawkes (Sol Star), Anna Gunn (Martha Bullock), Dayton Callie (Charlie Utter), Brad Dourif (Doc Cochran), Robin Weigert (“Calamity” Jane Canary), William Sanderson (E.B. Farnum), Kim Dickens (Joanie Stubbs) and Gerald McRaney (George Hearst). The script is by series creator David Milch.
If you’re a listener of Weird West Radio, we have placed this on our list of discussions and reviews. Keep your eyes and ears open!
