Star Trek: Picard ‘Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 1’
Star Trek: From the Holodeck is a fan broadcast dedicated to breaking down, analyzing and discussing all things Star Trek.
This week Mike and Dave discuss the latest Star Trek: Picard 1.9 ‘Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 1’.
- The amazing cinematic opening of the episode is the reason we pay for this series.
- Many things were brought together in this episode and questions were answered.
- The emotions were high when it comes to Picard but we can’t help and feel cheated that he’s sharing these moments with characters we don’t know.
- Lots of fan service.
- The writers of Picard are dangerously coming close to breaking continuity.
- Dr. Soong had a son? Okay, but this kinda brings up a lot of questions.
- Sutra (Lore 2.0) is a diabolical. This does make sense that bits of Soong’s more unflattering characteristics, personality etc. would find its way inside his creations.
- Will there be some type of Star Trek Discovery connection.
- All of this and lots more!
