Arrow 409: Dark Waters

Oliver is overseeing the cleanup of the bay. We find out that Oliver’s approval rating is up 10 points for the clean up. Team Arrow is all working towards cleaning up the bay. Gunshots ring out from a drone. Felicity ends up taking the drone down with a tablet that she had with her.
Back in the lair the team is watching the news broadcast of the attack. Oliver is sure it’s HIVE. Oliver wants to go after Darhk because he’s going after civilians. Oliver wants Diggle to talk to his brother.
Flashback to the island Oliver is using the map to locate what Reiter is after on the island.
Diggle is now interrogating his brother. Diggle gives Andy pictures of his family. Diggle gets upset with him about not caring about his family. Diggle ask Andy what Darhk wants with the bay? Andy doesn’t know.
Felicity’s mom is at the appartment getting it ready for a christmas party for Oliver campaign. She lets out a blood curdling scream. Felicity runs back into the room to see her engagement ring. Both women are surprised and very happy.
Oliver and the team are at the crime scene. Oliver is about to speak to the press. Oliver tells the press the whole story of HIVE and the Ghost. That they will chase him off the streets and that they will have a tip hotline set up to catch him. Darhk is watching and blows up the TV with his mind.
Oliver and the team are back in the lair discussing the Holiday party. The team doesn’t want cancel the party. They can’t hide in fear after call out Darhk. Oliver ask Felicity if she believes they’ve done the right thing.
Flashback to the Island. Oliver has reached the bay of the island on the map
Thea is getting ready for the party and Malcolm appears. Malcolm has some information on Darhk’s effect on Speedy. He’s worried because they are forces he doesn’t understand.
Oliver and the team are at the part. Terrific and his husband are there. Felicity is still nervous about engagement. In all the nervousness she figures out he was going to propose with the dessert three months ago. Felicity confronts Oliver about why he didn’t propose. Darhk and the Ghost crash the party. Darhk confronts Oliver and says he’s going to hurt the ones he loves the most. Darhk uses the force to send Oliver through a window and instructs the Ghost to take the people he loves.
Oliver wakes up and figures out that Felicity, Diggle and Thea has all been kidnapped. Oliver now dressed as the Arrow is running around beating on Ghost trying to find the location of Darhk. Laurel is now with Oliver in lair telling him that they all knew the risk that he should blame himself
Laurel is in the police station confronting her dad about a tip that came through the hotline that said he is working with Darhk. Lance tells Laurel about the plan with Darhk and Oliver. Oliver calls them to the liar
Oliver is sitting in the lair with no leads. Malcolm sneaks in again and Lance pulls a gun on him. Malcolm disarms him and throws a sat phone to Oliver says this is how the Ghost are communicating. Oliver knows they can’ break the phone without Felicity. Oliver wants to trade himself for the rest of the team.
Darhk is meeting with others about Genysis they don’t care about Oliver. Oliver is meeting with Darhk in a park to turn himself over. Darhk tells Oliver he hasn’t made his point yet.
Oliver is now in Darhk’s headquarters. Darhk has a gas chamber and its part of the plan for Oliver as mayor if he wants his friends alive. Darhk sends a Ghost member into the chamber to die.
In the Lair Malcolm tells Laurel the location of Oliver. Oliver was implanted with a nano tech tracker and they know exactly where he is. Laurel is going to go at it alone because she doesn’t want to blow her dad’s cover. Laurel doesn’t needs her dad’s protection.
In Darhk’s HQ he is led to Felicity’s cell. Felicity brings up the proposal again. She said if he would have asked her to marry him she would have said yes.
Flashback Oliver has now swam out to the sunken boat and retrieved the maps needed to find the mystical item on the island. As he’s swimming back to shore a shark is chasing him
Back to Darhk the deal wasn’t what Oliver thought Diggle, Speedy and Felicity are all in the gas chamber. Darhk is going to gas them all. Oliver runs over to the chamber and mouths I love you to Felicity. The gas is pouring into the chamber and Green Arrow and Laurel are there to save the day. Laurel uses the canary call to break the gas chambers walls. Malcolm is dressed like the Green Arrow and attacks Darhk. Darhk starts to force choke Malcolm. Oliver comes and tackles Darhk. Oliver and Darhk start to fight. Oliver is losing until Malcolm puts an arrow in Darhk. Meanwhile the team is fighting off newly freed ghost members from in the cell area. Lance comes in with the police force to even the odds. As Oliver and Malcolm are leaving Malcolm plants an arrow in the ground Darhk knows he’s about to die and starts reciting a prayer.
Flashback. Oliver is attacked by a shark but makes the shore and is found out by the soldiers that he’s a liar.
Diggle is now talking with Andy again. Andy still has nothing.
Darhk is with people they are worried about his vigilante problem. Darhk leads them to a basement with a controlled atmosphere with corn growing.
Oliver is at a tree lighting ceremony. He uses the opportunity to get down on one knee and propose to her in front of all the press and the team. Oliver and Felicity are now in a Limo driving home and they get surrounded by cars. It’s the ghost they get out and shoot up the limo. Darhk is decorating a tree with his family. Just as Darhk finishes by putting the start on top of the tree. Oliver manages to escape in the limo he runs to the back and Felicity looks to be dead…..
