Did Supergirl Just Link Itself to Smallville?

Supergirl and Smallville on the Same Earth?

In this weeks episode of Supergirl titled Midvale, a young Kara and Alex find a laptop and send it off to Choe Sullivan who can help save the data off of it. During the discussion, they mention she helps Clark and has her own Wall of Weird

For those who don’t know Chloe Sullivan was Clark’s best friend from the WB’s Smallville which ran for 10 seasons and concluded in 2011. Chloe was known in High School for keeping the Wall of Weird in the office of the school newspaper.

The Chloe Sullivan character was created for Smallville and was not adapted for the comics. So, Kara’s mention of her and the Wall of Weird could give the indication that both Smallville and the current Supergirl show both reside on Earth-38.

Again for any of this to work you would have to forget that Smallville did have its own Supergirl. What do you guys think?

Additionally, the DC on CW brand is getting bigger! In June, the hosts of DC on CW started branching into other areas of DC content with a Patreon exclusive tier.
